De Verdamper review

In the Netherlands, Evert, the friendly inventor of De Verdamper, is nothing less than an icon of the cannabis movement. He can be found at almost every trade show and legalisation event, always in company of one or more Verdampers. It is also no surprise that many Dutch coffeeshops have a Verdamper in their shop. In this review, we take a close look at Evert's glass vaporizer.

Omicron Vaporizer Review

The Omicron is a pen-style portable vaporizer that works on cartridges which can be filled with various types of concentrates (think hash oil, BHO, budder etc). The Omicron allows the user to instantly vaporize, meaning there is virtually no heat-up time.

We’d heard many good things about this device, and we first got to try it at the 2012 High Times Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam. We then got in touch with the folks at THC Scientific, and they were kind enough to hook us up with a Starter Kit of the Omicron to review.

WISPR Vaporizer by IOLITE Review

The WISPR (or IOLITE WISPR) is the latest butane-powered vaporizer to enter the market. But what makes the WISPR different from the IOLITE ORIGINAL? Apart from the completely new design, manufacturer Oglesby & Butler claims to have made quite a few improvements under the hood.

Arizer Solo Review

Prior to the launch, not much information had leaked about Arizer’s new portable vape, the Solo. It is the third vaporizer coming from the Arizer Tech company, and expectations were high this time. Time to take a closer look at this Canadian made portable vaporizer!

Alivi8 Vaporizer Review

From the UK-based metalware experts at Red Eye, comes the Alivi8 portable vaporizer. We spent a morning putting this shiny little flame fuelled vaporizer to the test to see if it can live up to its claims.

Looks

The Alivi8 comes in very elegant packaging and the unit itself just breathes quality. The stainless steel gives this vape a solid and durable feel. Measuring about the height of clipper lighter, it is much smaller than I expected.

Vaporizer Review: Magic Flight Launch Box

My initial thought when seeing the Magic Flight Launch Box (MFLB) was, ‘Wow, this thing is tiny!’ It is hard to imagine that a piece of wood that is no bigger than the size of a box of matchsticks is able of releasing thick hits of vapor within seconds. This is a vaporizer that must be seen to impress. We’ve seen nothing but rave reviews, so we decided to test it out and see what the hype is all about.

The MFLB is available in two versions: with or without charger. Both versions come with two rechargeable batteries, an aluminum tin, a carrying pouch, a brush and a mouth piece.

Vaporizer Review: Vaporbrothers Hands Free

Vaporbrothers was the first company to introduce the box style vaporizer to the market, in 1999. The unit has been improved since, but the principle has remained the same: a whip is connected to the heating element and the user can draw vapor from the whip. The type we will review is the Hands-Free model, where the whip will stays locked to the unit. Technically, it is a one-hand-free type, since you still have to hold the whip. But more importantly, how does it perform?

Vaporizer Review: Lotus Vaporizer

The Lotus Vaporizer is a new portable vaporizer manufactured by a small California based company, named Mendocino Therapeutics.

The unit looks appealing, and is available in different colors. The Lotus features a small, thin (but solid) stem with a pipe head consisting of a bowl and a nickel, detachable cap. The cap is attached to the bowl by magnets, which makes (un)loading very easy. By heating the lotus shaped ring on top of the cap, hot air is conducted onto the bowl, allowing for the vaporization of your herb.

Best portable, personal vape. Period! I also have a Volcano, but find I'm pulling the Solo out more of the time lately.

Volcano Classic review

By Laura on 4/5/2012

BEST PURCHASE EVER! The Volcano is worth every penny! So easy to use, so efficient, so beautiful, so smooth, so easy to clean and reliable. I HIGHLY recommend it. Bag style vaporizers are FAR superior to whip style. With a bag, every hit is the same. Don't have to worry about sucking too fast, or slow. Set the temp and forget it. :) Everyone should have a Volcano, it's a wise investment, will save you money in the long run!

Vapir NO2 review

By Mac on 26/4/2012

I've been using the Vapir NO2 now for three weeks with great success! I've tried a few different vaporisers at a similar price point and this is the best value for money by far. Clean thick vapor bursts when used correctly make it must buy if your looking for the real deal.

By VectorNectar on 21/4/2012

I've used the "Arizer Solo" for about 4 months now and I simply have to say, I have never been more satisfied with a portable vaporizer before in my whole life(and regarding vaporizers, that's over 10 years of first-hand experience)!

Been using the solo (black M106 2012 model) for a week now. Can advice it to everybody. Heat up time is good, mostly it will be heated up by the time I loaded the bowl.

I Love my micro solo!
I am fairly new to using a vaporizer.
The micro solo is so handy! It works amazing, the people I have talked to about vaporizing when I tell them about the solo they want one!
It heats up very quickly! It shuts off after 12 minutes which is good for the battery and by than your herb is usually getting over done. Its super easy to clean. Compact!
Overall I have nothing bad the say about the solo; only I wish it were cheaper!

The last reviewer is inpatient. I too thought the tubes (bowls) didnt fit, but they do. Watch a Youtube video.

The only Drawback I have found are the fact you cant chatge and use at the same time. And a fairly difficult draw (compared to old school papers).

Otherwise its frikkin awesome. I mean AWESOME!!

Plenty Vaporizer review

By vape dude on 6/3/2012

Just got mine recently, I really like it, the design makes it so you have to pack a really fat bowl though(which is awesome!), definitely perfect for a couple people. the vapor quality is very amazing, not too harsh but not too weak either, perfect travel vape. With the whip tape, you have to puff the heat into the chamber so it might not be as easy as huffing it out of a bag the way a volcano is designed lol, but its way easier than it sounds. Definitely high quality, can see it lasting for a very long time, will update later when I experiment with extracts. thank you
