Avec le Vaporstar vous pouvez facilement transformer votre bong en verre en un vaporisateur de très bonne qualité. Le Vaporstar est très facile à utiliser. Une flamme de gaz butane est passée à travers le Vaporstar grâce à la puissance des poumons, ce qui chauffe une petite étoile en acier se trouvant à l'intérieur de la chambre d'extraction. A partir de l'étoile, seize points de chaleur enveloppent et pénètrent les plantes, faisant monter la température jusqu'à ce que de la vapeur soit visible dans le contenant en verre.

First of all, the design is very simple, consisting of a simple wooden bowl and the separate metal cap that does the actual vaporizing. The vaporstar is meant to be used with any standard bong or water pipe and the wooden bowl's tapered stem means that it will fit into a a good range of hole diameters.
Once the bowl is seated securely in the pipe and you've added herb and placed the metal cap on top, you use a butane lighter to heat the metal cap. By breathing slowly through the bong you can make the flame dip into the little 'teat' on the cap. This heats up a star-shaped heat spreader on the inside of the cap, which in turn heats the air around your herb.
To be honest, it's not the easiest of devices to use and it takes a fair bit of practise to get your technique right. Successful hits off the Vaporstar are down to a combination of good breath control and keeping a close eye on the steam accumulating inside the bowl. Glass is far superior to plastic for this, as the vapour condenses on the glass and gives you a clear visual indicator that you've reached the right temperature. It is quite easy to burn a bowl if you get too aggressive with the lighter, but patience, practise and a light touch pays dividends.
Once you've got the technique down you can get surprisingly strong hits off this little device. I used it as my primary vaping device for a couple of years and aside from the odd burnt bowl it performed brilliantly!
Also, for £25 it's one of the cheapest convection vaporizers available and could potentially last a lifetime.
