The Linx Bubbler is a neat water pipe accessory for the excellent Linx Gaia, Linx Hypnos Zero and Linx Ares. I’m a big fan of Linx and their products so I was keen to give this a go.
Although not convenient for all situations I find that using a bubbler helps you to take large draws without irritating your throat. I tested on the Gaia and the Hypnos Zero. I found that the Linx Bubbler improves the vapour on both models.

Linx Bubbler: Linx Gaia, Hypnos Zero and Bubbler
Linx Bubbler Performance
The job of a bubbler is to cool and hydrate the vapour that a vaporizer produces as you draw. I found that the Linx Bubbler did this very well. I use the Linx Hypnos Zero multiple times a day to vaporize CBD crystals. Using the Linx Bubbler makes the vapour more comfortable to inhale.

Linx Bubbler: Hypnos Zero with Bubbler attached
I tend to use the Linx Gaia over the other vapes I have for flowers as I enjoy the full body taste from the quartz chamber. It’s very pocketable and I also love the look and feel. I don’t find the vapour as hot or dry as vaping crystals through the Hypnos. If you compare with or without the bubbler in place you can instantly tell the difference. The vapour produced is cooler and smoother with the bubbler attached.

Linx Bubbler: improves the vapour of the already great Gaia
I’ve not tested the Linx Ares so cannot verify how it performs on this model. If the performance on the other two is anything to go by I’m sure it will work well.
Linx Bubbler Value For Money
The Linx Bubbler is priced slightly higher than the budget XMAX Bubbler but it feels more solid and the glass appears thicker. It comes with four O rings that are used to hold the bubbler in place once attached to the mouthpiece. There is nothing else in the box, not even any instructions.

Linx Bubbler Build quality
The Linx Bubbler looks great. It is made of solid glass and survived toppling over onto bricks as I knocked it over once whilst using outdoors. I’m not sure it would survive a drop onto the same surface – but it is glass so you wouldn’t expect it to.
Linx Bubbler User friendliness
As the Linx Bubbler is only one piece it’s quite apparent how you would set about using it. That said, without instructions I still managed to get it slightly wrong (see “Ease of Use” below).
– Adding water
Adding water was easy. Both ends are wide enough to pour water into – either direct from a tap or using a jug. It’s impossible to overfill as the excess water drains out of the bottom. I found that giving it a small blow before use helped to ensure that it was not at maximum capacity which resulted in water splashing up the mouthpiece as you inhale. After a few draws this would right itself in any case.

Linx Bubbler: no matter how you tip it, it won’t spill
Once the bubbler has water inside it does not leak thanks to an ingenious design whereby the mouthpiece is extended on the inside. No matter which way you tip it water will not spill out. This helps with portability.
– Ease of Use
The Linx Bubbler comes with four silicone O rings. Mistakenly, I used just one to put the bubbler in place on the mouthpiece of the Gaia/Hypnos assuming the other three were spares. The result functioned fine but it was a bit wobbly. Three or more rings are required to give a solid connection.

According to their product page you are supposed to put all four O rings on the mouthpiece. Doing this made a solid connection that looked great. A few tests showed me that three O rings provided a solid enough connection and allowed me to keep a spare in the box.

You can also use a Linx silicon mouthpiece cap. I have not tested with one of these but will be sure to order some as the O rings are bit fiddly. I wonder why at least one is not included instead of (or as well as) the O ring solution? O rings will be fine until you lose them (they don’t sell replacements).

Linx Bubbler: three O rings hold it in place allowing you to keep a spare
An issue with the O rings is – where do you put them when you are not using the bubbler? You can’t exactly leave them on the vape mouthpiece. My solution is to slide them over the mouthpiece of the bubbler itself (when not in use) to keep them safe. It works but means you are juggling them about. Again, the silicon mouthpiece seems an appealing alternative.
Linx Bubbler Maintenance and Cleaning
The glass Linx Bubbler is easy to clean. To remove the water inside give it a strong blow in the mouthpiece. This pushes out (almost all of) the water. A few drops remain, if you run water through it via a tap you can ensure that at least these drops are clean water. Leave it to stand and they will evaporate away. You can clean the mouthpiece with an ISO wipe.
Linx do not sell replacement O rings. You can however, buy a silicone cap that slots over the mouthpiece and can be used instead.
Who Is It Good For?
The Linx Bubbler is good for anyone who owns a Linx Gaia, Hypnos or Ares. If you find that the vapour is too hot or dry then the bubbler will fix this issue. Even if you don’t find the vapour from one of these vapes too dry the Linx Bubbler improves the smoothness of the vapour noticeably.
